Recycle Colorado is seeking candidates for its Future Leaders Scholarship Program!

This scholarship covers registration for students, recent graduates, and professionals new to the waste/recycling/composting/reuse industry who are hoping to attend the 2025 Summit for Recycling conference.

What happens at this event: Learn about career opportunities in the recycling, composting, waste diversion, circular economy and sustainability fields, while connecting with private businesses, state and local government, nonprofits, and university representatives. The conference agenda includes educational sessions, tours of local facilities, a variety of subject-matter experts, a business partner showcase, and fun networking opportunities.

What you get:

Free attendance to the premier recycling conference for the state of Colorado, including access to sessions on composting, policy, recycling and waste reduction. Scholarship also includes attendance to the awards gala, policy retreat, and conference tours.
Support from a mentor who is active in the industry, with an attempt to match this mentor to your specific experience and interests.
Fantastic networking opportunities with professionals in a growing and exciting industry.

To Apply: Candidates engaged in environmental sciences, sustainability, engineering, marketing, business and related activities, are highly encouraged to apply. Applicants must currently be 18 years or older, enrolled at a higher education institution, a recent graduate of high school or a higher education institution, or an individual looking to get involved in the recycling, composting, or waste reduction industry.

Eligible applicants, please fill out the online application. Responses are due by Sunday, April 6th. Applications will be reviewed by a panel. Recipients will be announced by the fourth week in April.
